Special issue banknotes of
the National Bank of the Republic of Belarus,
dedicated to the third millennium, are issued
into circulation on October 1, 2001 with the
issue limit of 2,500 pieces.
Commemorative banknotes 1; 5; 10; 20; 50;
100; 500; 1,000; 5,000 and 10,000 Roubles
of the current banknote series are marked
with a special inscription-impress MILLENNIUM,
located on a coupon field of the back. Banknotes
are unified into a set with identical serial
numbers " 0000001 - 0002500"
and are packed in a special cover.
The banknotes are legal tender.
